Rwanda: La saga des condamnations de nos leaders politiques continue

Kigali, le 14 Janvier 2014

Ce lundi 14 Janvier 2014, la Haute Cour de Karongi a condamné à 6 ans de prison fermes chacun, Messieurs Sylvain Sibomana, Secrétaire Général des FDU-INKINGI, et Anselme Mutuyimana. Le crime: avoir tenu une réunion avec les militants de base pour propager la rumeur et la désobéissance au régime de Kigali. Cette condamnation vient s'ajouter à une première antérieure où M. Sylvain Sibomana avait été condamné à 2 ans de prison fermes.

Après le prononcé du jugement, à son retour de Karongi à Kigali, il a constaté que tous ses effets de couchage avaient été enlevés. Il a été déposé en cachot, dans le plus grand dénuement.

Les FDU-INKINGI demandent la relaxation immédiate et sans conditions de ses membres emprisonnés dont le seul crime est celui d'avoir exercé leur droit d'association en adhérant à un parti politique de leur choix.

Les FDU-INKINGI demandent à la communauté internationale, en particulier aux Etats qui soutiennent ce régime, de faire pression au régime rwandais pour la libération de tous les prisonniers politiques.
