Ceci  démontre encore une fois le rôle colonisateur  de la  Belgique dans la tragédie rwandaise. Tous les témoins blancs menteurs dans le cas de Simbikangwa se comportent comme des colonisateurs et certains confirment leur harcèlement et  menaces a l'égard  du Président Habyarimana.  Ils  n'ont rien fait a l'égard du  FPR.

Ce jugement est un jugement du colonisé par le colonisateur. Maintenant ces blancs menteurs  ont fabriqués des témoignages  autour de l'Akazu, RTLM et les escadrons de la mort qui ont été des stratégies  du FPR et l'Opposition  pour déstabiliser le gouvernement de Habyarimana.

Pour Johan Swinnen, l'ambassadeur belge à Kigali de 1990 à 1994, Pascal Simbikangwa était un personnage sulfureux à l'incroyable réputation.
 « Avec l'ambassadeur américain, nous avons alors multiplié les démarches auprès de la présidence rwandaise pour que Pascal Simbikangwa soit écarté et que les droits de l'homme soient respectés. En vain, en 1992, le nom de Simbikangwa est à nouveau apparu sur une liste de tortionnaires ».
Pour finir, le diplomate ajoute : « Les extrémistes ont conduit ce pays à la catastrophe. Le piège de la polarisation s'est refermé. Et aujourd'hui encore, nous ne connaissons pas toute la vérité. Je ne sais pas si le président Habyarimana était acteur ou otage de sa belle-famille, les durs, ceux des escadrons de la mort ».
