Trois mouvements d'opposition rwandais ont appelé dimanche à une "grande manifestation" mercredi à Bruxelles pour protester contre la venue en Belgique du président Paul Kagame pour participer au 4ème sommet UE-Afrique le 2 et 3 avril prochains.
 
"La plate-forme des organisations politiques FDU-INKINGI (Forces démocratiques unifiées, non reconnues, dont la présidente Victoire Ingabire Umuhoza a été condamnée à quinze ans de prison après être rentrée d'exil aux Pays-Bas), RNC (Congrès national du Rwanda) et Amahoro People's Congress invitent leurs membres et sympathisants, ainsi que d'autres personnes éprises de paix et de justice, à se mobiliser en masse et venir soutenir cette grande action citoyenne", indiquent ces mouvements dans un communiqué adressé à l'agence BELGA. Ils souhaitent "montrer (leur) colère et indignation à l'Union européenne qui invite un individu sur qui pèsent de très lourdes charges de crimes contre l'humanité, voire de génocide", qualifiant M. Kagame de "dictateur".
 
Ce rassemblement est prévu mercredi de 13h00 à 17h00 au Rond Point Robert Schuman à Bruxelles, devant le siège de l'UE. Ces organisations, principalement composées de Hutu, affirment que le génocide de 1994 - qui a fait quelque 800.000 morts, selon l'ONU - a frappé les trois ethnies vivant au Rwanda (Twa, Tutsi et Hutu) et pas seulement les Tutsi, comme le prétend le régime de M. Kagame. Mais elles sont considérées par Kigali comme proches des génocidaires.

Since Axel Rudakubana's parents are Tutsi genocide survivors, and his father, Alphonse Rudakubana, is a nephew of Wellars Gasamagera, the Secretary General of Rwanda's ruling party - RPF, the tragedy that occurred in the UK has not been mentioned by any tabloids or news outlets in Rwanda.
